Medicaid Managed Care Emergency Medical Services Supplemental Payment Program Informational Session

Public Consulting Group LogoThe Florida Fire Chiefs' Association in partnership with Public Consulting Group, Inc. (PCG) is pleased and proud to announce the scheduling of two important informational sessions on the launching of the Medicaid managed care organization (MCO) Supplemental Payment program. The Medicaid MCO Supplemental Payment program is a significant opportunity to increase Medicaid funding to the provider community.

However, this program will operate differently than that of the existing Medicaid fee for service Public Emergency Medical Transportation (PEMT) supplemental payment program. These informational sessions will be critically important to explain the differences between the two programs, the mechanics of the Medicaid MCO supplemental payment program, requirements to participate, how funds will be distributed to the Medicaid MCOs, how funds will be distributed by the MCOs to the  provider community, provider state share financing requirements, and how to prepare your Department for program implementation. For more information on the topics we will cover, please review the agenda by clicking HERE.
