Fire Rescue Cadets Section of the Florida Fire Chiefs' Association

Preparing Tomorrow's Firefighters . . . TODAY. The mission of this section is to assist fire departments with sponsored youth programs and post commanders in the development of future firefighters.  Develop Home Growing Our Own programs, where cadets will receive specialized training and will become a continuing source of qualified firefighters for Florida fire rescue agencies.  This section is governed by a Section Council.  

Florida Fire & Emergency Services Foundation Fire Cadet Scholarship

The purpose of this foundation scholarship is to reward those Fire Rescue Cadets who have excelled as members by awarding them with a scholarship that will assist them in the cost of education as they begin their journey to become tomorrow's firefighters.  One eligible fire cadet will be awarded a $1000 scholarship each year.  The scholarship will be awarded at Fire-Rescue EAST during the awards ceremony.
